iLove Computers moving to new location

*** As of Monday 31st March iLove Computers will operate from a new location ***

After 15 years in Bundilla Fair, we are excited to let our customer know that iLove Computers is moving.

From Monday 31st March our new location is 2/38 Burnett St, Mooloolaba. If you know the La Balsa building, then you will know the location. We will be closer to Mooloolaba's beautiful beach and all the fantastic restaurants along the esplanade and at the wharf precinct.

There is 2 hour parking in front of our new shop in the La Balsa building carpark.

If you are coming from the motorway you turn right at the Shell Service station on the right hand side as you come along Brisbane Rd, then turn left into Burnett St, and you will find the La Balsa carapace entrance half way along Burnett St.

If you are coming from Maroochydore down the esplanade, then you will turn right onto Brisbane Rd and just after the La Balsa building you will find the entrance to the carpark off Brisbane Rd.

Beats and AirPod repairs

We are able to arrange repair for your Beats or AirPods, covered by Apple's Limited Warranty or under Australian Consumer Law.

Note: We may need a copy of your proof of purchase document (ie. tax invoice) to confirm your warranty status.

For component repairs the following process applies:-

  1. You need to drop your headphones, earphones or speakers into our service centre. We will book it in for our Authorised technicians to check for damage (ie. damage resulting from accident, liquid, disassembly, unauthorised service and unauthorised modifications) and then confirm warranty coverage.
  2. We will run diagnostics to reproduce the fault and confirm which components need repair. This can take some time (ie. a battery issue can take over 24 hours to diagnose as we will have to run a playback test).
  3. When diagnostics confirm a component replacement is required (ie. lead, power adapter) we will order the part from Apple (this can take a day or two) and replace the failed component, then re-run diagnostics to confirm the repair process is succesful.
  4. We will then call you to advise it is ready for collection.

If we are unable to repair your device using components, then we will need to request a whole unit replacement from Apple.

The whole unit replacement process is as follows:-

  1. Your device will be shipped to Sydney for repair. The turnaround time is usually 4-5 business days.
  2. If the repair is not covered by warranty, you will be required to pay the Out of Warranty price for the repair.
  3. We will then call you when the replacement arrives to advise it is ready for collection.

Note: Your replacement Beats or AirPods will be covered by your existing warranty or a 90 day service warranty, whichever is the greater. They may also be covered under Australian Consumer Law.

What if my Beats or Airpods are not covered by warranty?

As an authorised Apple Service Provider, iLove Computers can also arrange service for your Beats or AirPods. As per above we can repair certain components in our service centre. Otherwise we can arrange replacement of the entire unit through Apple's Out of Warranty service program. The whole unit replacement pricing for your Beats or AirPods is shown in the right hand column.

I have lost an Airpod or my Case. What are my options?

We can replace individual Airpods or Cases that have been lost. The pricing is the Whole Unit Replacement cost.

Can I troubleshoot my Beats?

Yes. Please visit the Beats support website for helpful troubleshooting of your gear. It will explain how best to determine if your gear has a hardware issue. If you have reviewed the articles on the website, and you're still not sure if your Beats require service, you can bring the unit into our service centre for assistance.

How long will my service take?

Most repairs/replacements can be performed within 3-4 days.
